September 30 – Walking With Bartram Wrap-up Hike

We hope anyone who came along with us on this journey over the past 16 months can join us. If you’re thinking about joining us for the next round of section hikes, this event is open to anyone.

Join us for this special wrap-up to our section hikes of Bartram Trail that we completed in August. We’ll explore Cowee Valley and Alarka Laurel – the area of Bartram’s Travels that he describes upon his return from the Nantahala mountains.

The event includes a five mile moderate difficulty hike in Alarka Laurel on the crest of the Cowee mountain range. We meet at 9AM at the Cowee School/Macon Arts and Heritage Center and will return by 4PM.
