October 21st Third Friday Work Day: Warwoman Dell in Georgia

This Friday we’ll be meeting at Warwoman Dell in Georgia, at 9AM, and working between Warwoman and Beegum Gap on the Georgia section of the Bartram Trail. The focus on this section is to help prepare for the upcoming Sky to Summit trail run. Additional details will be provided on the 20th to volunteers who RSVP.

Please bring work gloves, good boots, plenty of water, lunch, any meds you might need and esprit de corps.

We’ll start at 9AM and wrap up at 3pm.

December 10th Second Saturday Work Day

We are planning to work out of Warwoman Dell again for this trail maintenance workday, possibly working between Courthouse Gap and Rabun Bald. Volunteers should plan to meet at Warwoman Dell to figure out shuttling. If we have enough folks, we may break into 2 groups to cover a little more trail.

Check the weather and dress in layers, as our winter weather tends to be a little less predictable at times. Please bring work gloves, good boots, plenty of water, lunch, any meds you might need and esprit de corps.

November 12th Second Saturday Work Day

We’ll be meeting at Warwoman Dell and possibly shuttling some of the group to Poole Creek to work back towards Warwoman Dell.

This will be a great opportunity to meet and work with our young adult PLC crew, who will be working out of Warwoman Dell throughout November.

Please bring work gloves, good boots, plenty of water, lunch, any meds you might need and esprit de corps.

This Saturday we’ll be working the Cheoah Bald section and meeting at the Duke Energy trailhead near the intersection of Wayah Road and State Highway 19.
