Are Pets Allowed?

Pets are not allowed at any Conservancy-hosted event. Pets are allowed on personal hikes and must be leashed.

It is advised to keep your pets leashed and under control. Bear, deer, coyotes, and many other animals share the forest that the Bartram trail passes through. It is respectable to other hikers who may not appreciate dogs, as well as other dog owners who keep their dogs leashed. Just because your dog is friendly does not mean other dogs will be! Keep in mind that some trailheads are popular for hounds to be hunting in season.
