May 5th Barkin’ with Bartram

A special hike for those who want to bring along your dogs, or just be around some!

For this outing, we’ll hike the Bartram Trail from Winding Stair along the Nantahala River to Beechertown then up to the Surge Chamber. That’s just under 7 miles RT, including the paved greenway section along the River. A steady but gentle incline from Beechertown, but the forest service road provides a gradual ascent.

We’ll meet at the Cowee School at 10:30 and carpool from there.

This hike will be limited to 8 people (and a reasonable amount of pups). Please RSVP below if you’d like to come!
