March 8th Second Saturday Workday

This week we will be working at the northern terminus of the Bartram Trail- from Cheoah Bald back to Winding Stairs. There are several large blowdowns on this section as well as some tread work to do.

We’ll plan to meet at Winding Stairs parking area at 9am (this is the winding stairs in the Nantahala gorge, not the parking area on Hwy 64). Contact us directly if you area interested in carpooling from Franklin.

Please bring work gloves, good boots, plenty of water, lunch, any meds you might need and esprit de corps.
