April 7th – Chunky Gal to Tallulah River with Eddi Minche

Join Eddie Minche for a 10 mile trek among big trees, big views and hopefully a few early wildflowers. The travel is partly on long-abandoned logging roads following a beautiful cove stream. A couple of wet crossings are a possibility–bring a dry pair of socks or water shoes. Eddie claims it is a rugged but wonderful hike! There will be a host-sponsored happy hour at hike’s end.

Please bring water, food, clothing, and any medications you will need. It’s going to be a great day!

We will meet at the North end of Clayton, GA Ingles parking lot and shuttle to the trailhead.
