Scaly Mountain Trailhead

There is a small parking lot to the right when going up Hickory Knut Gap Rd.
To the left is a FS road that connects to the Bartram after 1 mile. Continue on for another 0.6 miles to te top of Scaly Mountain where you will be greeted by exposed gneiss rock face and wonderful views.
