September 27th Walking with Bartram

This month we’ll be going to be hiking the new(ish) reroute that takes us along the greenway and through the town of Franklin. We’ll meet at the First United Methodist Church at 1pm to hike the 7 miles along the river to end up at the Lazy Hiker for drinks at the end of the day!

This route begins at the County Fairgrounds and Rec Park, continues down Allman Drive, through the Cartoogechaye Creek Meadow, onto the Little Tennessee Greenway to Big Bear, then down (or up) Main street.

This should be a relatively easy and accessible hike, and a great way to kick off the weekend.
