Description

Nearing the northern terminus of the Bartram Trail in North Carolina, you’ll find several side trails and connectors to the Bartram Trail. Appletree Group Camp is located near the Nantahala River and Lake Nantahala. These trails are a little less traveled and provide beauty and solitude for the more adventurous hiker. If you’re in the area and looking for a bit of a challenge or just explore off the beaten path a bit, you will enjoy these.

This guide contains the maps and detailed descriptions for the trails in the Appletree Group Camp area. These trails are associated with the group campground and can be used to connect Fires Creek to the Bartram and Appalachian Trails.

Pick up your copy of this guide before heading out in the area!

This Appletree Camp Trail Guide is a perfect companion guide to the Trail Guide of North Carolina’s Portion of Bartram Trail.

Make the set complete with the Trail Guide of Georgia’s Portion of Bartram Trail.

The whole set is a must-have for a Bartram Trail through hike. Or, if your just supporting your goal of going at your own pace to discover more of Western North Carolina’s gorgeous outdoors, they will certainly come in handy with trailhead information.
