SUMMARY:Slow Hikers Club
DESCRIPTION:Want to experience the Bartram at your own pace? Join us for a shorter hike on the trail where we take our time\, explore life along the trail\, and ask the important (ecological\, philosophical) questions. \nThis month we will be hiking from the Osage Overlook parking lot along the Puc Puggy trail and visiting a campsite\, around 1.5 miles RT. Children are welcome – just make sure you RSVP for everyone! \nWhat to expect: Downhill on the first half of the hike with small steep/rocky sections. Nimble footing required for everyone’s safety! The campsite provides a lovely resting/exploratory base. The second half is mostly uphill on a moderate incline. \nWhat to bring: plenty of water\, snacks\, extra layers for warmth\, proper trail gear (hiking poles? extra sturdy shoes?) & enthusiasm! \nIf you are having trouble signing up online and want to join\, refresh your page and try again.
